The sculpture is an artistic representation of the Ascot area racing culture and pays homage to the history of the Ascot Racecourse nearby. In-ground pureLED Sprite 3 up lights illuminate the magnificent sculpture which stands at 4 metres tall. The Racer comes to life at night, with blue backlighting, provided by pureLED Gem 24s mounted inside the sculpture, filtering through the galvanised panels. The up lights combined with the internal lights provide a wonderful interplay between the internal of the sculpture and the external sides. The Control is handled by a Color Kinetics iPlayer 3.
