The Point

Mirvac’s new luxury development in Mandurah, “The Point” on the former site of the old Peninsula Hotel is mid way through construction.

Once complete, The Point will become a fully integrated tourism, residential and commercial precinct incorporating two luxury apartment buildings, a serviced apartment hotel, an associated Bar & Brassiere and speciality retail space.

“The Point” will include approximately 120 apartments over two buildings, with six apartments per typical floorplate, along with a number of stunning half floor penthouse apartments in each building. Light Application is proud to announce this impressive development has chosen Dynalite as the Lighting and Energy management control system throughout.

Whilst the base specification was for a simpler competitors product, it was soon decided that an easier to install, more flexible and yet more sophisticated overall solution was required to meet the actual brief and expectations of the new residents.

The new Dynalite system integrates the entire complex in one network, with control over common area’s, apartments, hotel, restaurants, retail and public open space. The cost of the lighting and energy management control remains within budget, yet the feature set and flexibility now befits the location and design of Australia’s latest premier apartment complex.
